How It All Began
Our Story
Written in the Script
We met at drama rehearsals for a play at the University of Sheffield. We quickly became close and built a wonderful friendship that eventually grew into our love story.
Our first date was a breakfast at Bill’s, and it almost derailed when a waiter ran after us convinced we hadn’t paid. We had.
Years later, Kamo was headed to what she thought was a Galentine’s dinner with her friends. After a lot of convincing about the dress code, she eventually agreed to wear a white dress.
Waiting for Kamo in a private room was GB. He got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. She said yes, and our forever began.
We Met
At drama rehearsals in the Portobello Building common room, practicing for a play they were in together. A close friendship quickly blossomed — and grew into a love story.
First Date

FAQs
What should I wear?
Garden Formal — and the more colour the better. Think bold, bright and joyful. The ceremony takes place outdoors on the estate grounds, so please choose your footwear accordingly (heels may sink into grass).
Will the ceremony be outdoors?
Yes — the ceremony is held outside in the grounds of Cavalli Estate. We recommend sunglasses and perhaps a light layer for the evening. South African February is warm, but evenings can cool down.
Can I bring a plus one or children?
This is an intimate celebration and invitations are personal. We kindly ask that only those named on the invitation attend.
Is there parking at the venue?
Yes, Cavalli Estate has parking on site. Details on getting there will be shared closer to the date.
I have a dietary requirement — will I be catered for?
Absolutely. Please let us know in your RSVP and we'll make sure you're taken care of.
