Our Story
Written in the Script
They met at rehearsals for a play at the University of Sheffield. Their first date was at Bills — a lovely evening, almost derailed when the waiter ran after them convinced they hadn't paid. They had.
Years later, Kamo's friends invited her to dinner at Brix Ldn near London Bridge. She spent the whole week telling them she'd wear a pink shirt and jeans — it was casual, just a catch-up. She showed up in a dress. GB was waiting in a private room. He got down on one knee. She said yes.
We Met
At the Portobello Building common room. Kamo and GB were practicing for a play they were in together
First Date

What should I wear?
Garden Formal — and the more colour the better. Think bold, bright and joyful. The ceremony takes place outdoors on the estate grounds, so please choose your footwear accordingly (heels may sink into grass).
Will the ceremony be outdoors?
Yes — the ceremony is held outside in the grounds of Cavalli Estate. We recommend sunglasses and perhaps a light layer for the evening. South African February is warm, but evenings can cool down.
Can I bring a plus one or children?
This is an intimate celebration and invitations are personal. We kindly ask that only those named on the invitation attend.
Is there parking at the venue?
Yes, Cavalli Estate has parking on site. Details on getting there will be shared closer to the date.
I have a dietary requirement — will I be catered for?
