On the wedding day: staying in Stellenbosch? We've got transport to and from the venue sorted. Staying in central Cape Town? You'll want to arrange your own Uber, Bolt, or private transfer. Book your return trip in advance, especially late at night.

Table Mountain
Cable car to the top in under 5 minutes for 360° views. Book ahead, as waits can hit hours in peak season (Oct to Apr).
Robben Island
Ferry out to Nelson Mandela's former prison. A moving, ~4-hour guided tour. Book weeks ahead, as it sells out and is weather-dependent.
Museums
Zeitz MOCAA for contemporary African art, District Six Museum for a powerful look at local history.
Beaches
Camps Bay for the buzz, Clifton for calmer coves, and Boulders Beach if you want to swim alongside penguins.
Wine Country
You're headed to the Winelands anyway, so add a day for tastings in Stellenbosch or Franschhoek before or after the wedding.
Safari Day Trip
Aquila Private Game Reserve or Inverdoorn, both about 2.5 to 3 hrs from Cape Town, with game drives and the Big 5. A full-day outing, so plan around the wedding schedule.
Company’s Garden
Take a calm city-centre wander through historic trees, rose gardens, and South Africa’s oldest cultivated pear tree. Easy to pair with the nearby museums.
Bo-Kaap Stroll
Walk the colourful cobbled streets below Signal Hill, browse the spice shops, and stop for Cape Malay treats. Remember that this is a living neighbourhood.

Markets to Visit
Oranjezicht City Farm Market
Right at the Waterfront. Fresh produce, breakfast stalls, and coffee, great for a lazy Sat/Sun morning. Open Sat & Sun, 8am to 2:30pm.
Neighbourgoods Market
At the Old Biscuit Mill in Woodstock: food stalls, local design, and live music. A Cape Town institution. Sat 9am to 3pm, Sun 10am to 3pm.
Mojo Market
In Sea Point, easy to reach if you're staying nearby. Global food stalls, cocktails, and live music every night of the week.
Bay Harbour Market
A scenic drive out to Hout Bay: craft stalls, local art, and a big food court. Worth the trip on a Fri, Sat, or Sun.

A visa is required. Côte d'Ivoire doesn't have its own VFS Global visa centre for South Africa, so contact your nearest South African embassy or consulate well ahead of travel to confirm where to apply.
